Indigo Mountain Rhapsody
Seeing the light
Seeing the day
Seeing the time away
Seeing the night
Seeing the air
Seeing the tourniquet
Hearing the rain
Hearing the sun
Hearing the atmosphere
Touching the pain
Touching the hurt
Touching there’s no-one here
The refugees are lost inside
The cauldron burns we hide
Don’t you dare say you’re going away,
You’re taking the bait completely,
Find a way to find a way,
Shoot the line discretely,
Talk the knife to sell your life,
Time to share the mainframe,
To take your life impaled on knife,
The agency’s the same pain,
Holding the light
Holding the day
Holding the time away
Holding the night
Holding the air
Holding the tourniquet
Touching the rain
Touching the sun
Touching the atmosphere
Facing the pain
Facing the hurt
Holding there’s no-one near
The life blood flows through me,
Disaster’s child, the third degree,
See the light…
…in her eyes
See the night…
…you despise
Hear the rain…
…see it fall
Touch the pain…
…the endless haul
Holding the shame as before,
Adding our hands, force for all,
Hold the light…
…in your hands
Hold the night…
…read the bands
Touch the rain…
…plant the seed
Face the pain…
…feel it bleed
Feeding defies the soul,
Take a cry, crash of hand

Brian Jones / Richard Benjamin / Martyn C Jones
A very personal and "from the heart" release. Beautifully recorded with vibes of meditation. Mesmerising - great production too. Very unique. Nothing to compare it with. Ra Rising
supported by 6 fans who also own “Indigo Mountain”
Billed as the masters of symphonic prog this album is an interesting of styles and influences. Folky in parts, rocky in others.
Vocals are good and male for a change. Both lyrics and music are involving and all in all this album is a good listen.
I will be looking at The Gift's other offerings. Russell Whyman
